About the role
This position requires strong hybrid technical project management experience with GCP software development background. The Product Manager works closely with Product Owners to establish product strategy and convey that strategy to the development team while adhering to Agile software processes, culture, best practices, and techniques. The Product Manager is responsible for developing product features, prioritizing the backlog, and managing risks while ensuring the iterations and releases meet the business objectives. In addition to project management role, the candidate must have hands-on full-stack experience in GCP software development.
Primary Skills Required – Must Have
15+ years of IT product/program delivery experience
3+ years’ experience in establishing GCP environments, Tekton pipeline, CloudRun, Angular, FOSSA, 42Crunch and building PostGreSQL databases
Strong leadership skills capable of creating and maintaining relationships
Experience in running agile projects in JIRA (iteration planning, grooming, stand-ups, backlogs)
Effective communicator with technical and business stakeholders
Accountable and problem-solving facilitator
Organized and detail oriented
Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial controls
Nice To Have
Understanding of Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS)
Demonstrated experience leading COTS applications
An understanding of Ford’s IT architecture and landscape
Bachelor’s degree required. Preferred master’s degree in computer science, information technology or related discipline. Others considered.
