What’s the role?

The Financial Crime Surveillance (FCS) team plays a vital role in protecting the bank and its customers from financial crime. As a Risk Analyst, you’ll investigate unusual or high-risk customer activity, identify potential risks, and make informed recommendations that support compliance with regulatory obligations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, analysing complex information, and building a career in financial crime risk and investigations.

Responsibilities:

Investigate high-risk customers and potential financial crime activity.

Analyse customer information, transaction activity and risk indicators using enhanced due diligence techniques.

Prepare clear investigation reports and provide risk-based recommendations.

Identify financial crime red flags, emerging risks and suspicious activity patterns.

Collaborate with Financial Crime, Compliance, Operations and Business stakeholders to support customer risk decisions and continuous process improvement.

What do I need?

We're looking for a curious and adaptable investigator who can assess risk, build strong relationships and make sound, evidence-based decisions.

Experience in financial crime, AML/CTF, fraud, investigations or risk.

Strong analytical and investigative skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

High attention to detail with a proactive mindset.
