Summer is in full swing and with it come exciting new opportunities as one of my clients - an international leader in medical technology - is currently looking to onboard an experienced Test & Lifecycle Engineer at their site in Berlin.

Tasks:
Plan, execute, and evaluate laboratory studies and implantation tests for intraocular lenses and delivery
systems
Perform and further develop optical measurements (e.g. image quality, transmission, optical properties)
Conduct mechanical testing (e.g. implantation behaviour, durability, haptic performance)
Perform microscopy and visual inspections and support root cause analyses for product defects and
complaints
Analyse test data using statistical methods and ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory
requirements
Create and maintain technical documentation (test plans, reports, lifecycle documentation) in accordance
with ISO 13485
Maintain, calibrate, and validate measurement and testing equipment
Collaborate closely with R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Production, and Complaint Handling teams
Requisites:
Degree in Engineering (e.g. optics, mechanics, materials science, biomedical engineering, or similar)
At least 3 years experience in testing, validation, or product lifecycle support, ideally in medical devices
Knowledge of optical and/or mechanical measurement systems
Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g. ISO 13485, MDR)
Strong skills in data analysis and statistics (e.g. Excel, Minitab, Python, or similar)
Hands-on mindset and interest in lab-based experimental work
Structured, analytical, and quality-driven working style
Fluent English; German is a plus
Area: Berlin Start & volume: ASAP in fulltime and on-site Duration: 18 months ECM model (Arbeitnehmerüberlassung; with possibility of extension or takeover)
