Lead all aspects of Development on Distributed applications and OpenText Exstream based customer communications management platforms.
Executing – Build and release coordination, deployment tactics, and issue management.
Process Improvement/Automation – Tool/feature adoption and improvements, process automation and innovation.
Risk Assessment – Code review and approval processes, scope management, and delivery quality.
Coordination with Product managers and stakeholders for technical solutions to support the Product roadmap
Lead and provide technical guidance to geographically dispersed tech team to design and deliver solutions
Design scalable solutions for ultra high-volume applications

Current experience working with Schwab processes and procedures

Generates effective QA testing solutions that boost operational performance and product integrity
Enhances business outcomes by partnering with teams to organize and prioritize requirements
Develops software solutions that align with design principles and business objectives
Optimizes software development testing and verification to enhance component reliability and address operational problems
Leads packaging and orchestration to efficiently deliver software deployments
Delivers scalable, business-aligned system design solutions through predictive or adaptive approaches
Demonstrated exposure to, or hands-on experience with, GenAI coding assistants used across day-to-day engineering workflows in the SDLC - implementation, refactoring, unit testing, regression support, code reviews, scripting/automation, troubleshooting, and documentation - while ing engineering judgment and validation.
Practical familiarity with tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code is expected.
Uses AI assistance for common dev tasks (code suggestions, test generation, review support, automation scripts, troubleshooting) with clear ownership for correctness and quality.
Agentic-Proficient Skills:
Familiar with agentic workflows, spec-driven development (translating low-level design artifacts such as class structures, API contracts, and data models into structured specs that guide AI-assisted implementation)
Experience designing and managing AI agents that execute multi-step software delivery workflows.
Ability to integrate agents with engineering tools (Git, CI/CD, issue trackers, test frameworks, cloud platforms).
Skill in defining guardrails, approvals, and escalation paths for safe autonomous execution.
Ability to monitor agent outcomes, handle exceptions, and continuously improve reliability.
Experience measuring agent effectiveness using engineering KPIs such as lead time, defect rate, and deployment success.
Applies analytical thinking to abstract factors, guides outcomes, and sets priorities
Consistently maintains clear, open communication to enhance collaboration with others
Leverages industry expertise to guide strategy and guide team members in industry and marketplace dynamics
Encourages independent problem-solving and decision-making
