Job Overview

Metrocast Cable Systems is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in the hybrid role of Data Analyst & AI Engineering. Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and organise large, complex datasets from various sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can inform business decisions.

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualisation tools to communicate findings to stakeholders.

Assist in the design, development, and implementation of machine learning models and AI algorithms.

Support the training, testing, and evaluation of AI systems to ensure they meet performance benchmarks.

Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate AI-powered solutions into our services.

Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations that clearly articulate analytical results and recommendations.

Stay current with the latest industry trends and advancements in data analytics and artificial intelligence.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.

Proven experience in a data analysis role, with a strong understanding of statistical principles.

Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.

Strong programming skills in Python or R, including experience with data analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).

Familiarity with machine learning concepts and foundational AI frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch).

Experience with data visualisation software such as Tableau or Power BI.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high level of attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
