About the role
Description
As a Senior Development Operations Engineer at Infor, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure and automation that supports Infor’s cloud-native applications. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, improve system reliability, and ensure seamless delivery of our cloud service
A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and safe application deployments.
Build monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks to ensure high availability and performance of services.
Partner with development teams to enhance system architecture for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Champion DevOps best practices and drive automation across the SDLC to reduce manual overhead.
Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and implement preventative measures.
Mentor junior engineers and lead initiatives for process and tooling improvements.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles with a strong background in cloud infrastructure.
Expertise with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and tools like EC2, S3, ECS, Lambda, and RDS.
Experience in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or Spinnaker).
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration frameworks.
Experience of networking, security best practices, and system design.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with GitOps, service mesh (Istio, Linkerd), and secrets management tools (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
Experience of compliance and regulatory frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, etc.).
Experience in a SaaS, multi-tenant cloud environment
