This role architects the future of growth with our top customers by translating shopper behavior into scalable strategy, breakthrough activation, and connected execution. Responsibilities:

Architect Shopper-Led Growth Platforms: Define and lead the end-to-end shopper strategy across priority growth pillars - grounded in real behavior, not assumptions. Build durable platforms that unlock long-range growth with the retailer and create competitive advantage.

Build the Next-Gen Demand Conversion: Engine Design and operationalize a modern conversion playbook that seamlessly integrates brand, shopper marketing, and digital commerce. Move beyond campaigns to create repeatable systems that accelerate conversion across every touchpoint.

Connect the Dots Across the Ecosystem: Create a fully connected insights strategy that links category vision to action - bridging big bets, innovation pipelines, customer sell-in moments, and omnichannel execution. Ensure every initiative ladders up to a cohesive growth narrative.

Turn Shopper Intelligence into Actionable Advantage: Lead a best-in-class understanding of shopper behavior at the total retailer level - translating macro insights into precise, high-impact opportunities within the business. Elevate insights from reporting to decision-making fuel.

Compensation & Benefits:

The expected compensation range for this position is between $132,200 - $262,400.

Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.

Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 25% of annual salary paid out annually and an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period.

Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.

Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications:

Core Capabilities Needed:

Shopper-Centric Strategy & Growth Translation

Ability to define end-to-end shopper strategies tied to category & customer growth

Proven track record of turning insights into Innovation pipelines, Activation strategies, and Assortment & merchandising decisions

Advanced Analytics & Insight Generation

Deep expertise in Shopper behavior analysis, segmentation, and trend identification, Synthesizing multiple data sources (POS, panel, loyalty, digital, retail media)

Strong command of BI and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) as well as Syndicated data sources (Circana, Nielsen, Numerator, Scintilla)

Omnichannel & Conversion Expertise

Experience designing shopper journeys and conversion strategies across touchpoints

Working knowledge of: Retail media ecosystems, Digital commerce levers, In-store activation & path-to-purchase dynamics

Ability to connect brand, shopper marketing, and commerce into one system

System Building vs. One-Off Activation

Proven ability to build repeatable frameworks, playbooks, and scalable models, Move from insights systems

enterprise adoption

Experience operationalizing strategies, not just defining them

Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence

Strong track record of influencing across: Sales, Marketing, Commerce, Finance, & Category Teams

Ability to align multiple stakeholders without direct authority

Experience working in highly matrixed organizations

Storytelling & Executive Communication

Exceptional ability to translate complex data into clear, persuasive narratives, and influence senior leadership decision-making

Executive presence and ability to shape customer-facing sell stories

People Leadership

Experience leading and developing teams

Ability to build next-generation capabilities in insights and analytics

Experience & Background:

Bachelor's degree required

10+ years in Shopper Insights, Commercial Insights, Category Management, or Analytics within CPG or retail

Proven experience translating shopper/consumer insights into commercial strategies and growth outcomes

Demonstrated leadership in omnichannel environments (in-store, eCommerce, retail media)

Experience working directly with large retailers (e.g., Walmart, Sam’s Club) preferred
