WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Junior Human Resources Business Partner support the delivery of people solution by partnering with line managers and employees to implement HR initiatives, provide first-line HR advice, and ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices. The role works closely with HR Business Partners and General Manager to deliver effective HR services that support business objectives.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Business Partnering
Build effective working relationships with supervisors and line managers
Provide first-line HR advice and support on people-related matters
Support the implementation HR strategies and business initiatives
Escalate complex matters to the General Manager where appropriate
Employee Relations
Provide guidance on routine employee relation matters
Support disciplinary, grievance and incapacity processes
Assist with investigations and documentation
Promote compliance with company policies and labour legislation
Performance and Talent
Support the performance management process
Assist with talent review and succession planning activities
Monitor completion of performance reviews
Support employee engagement initiatives
Colloborate with the Talent Acquisition to ensure timely and effective filling of vacancies.
Support onboarding and integrations of new employee to ensure a positive employee experience.
Partner with People Development to identify skill gaps and support employee development initiatives.
Workforce Planning & HR Operations
Support workforce planning and organisational structure updates
Maintain accurate employee records
Support onboarding and employee movements
Prepare and administer employment documentations, including contracts, promotions, transfers and terminations
HR Reporting and Analytics
Compile HR reports and dashboards
Monitor HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism and vacancies
Identify trends and escalate concerns to the General Manager
HR Projects
Participate in HR Projects and change initiatives
Support implementation of HR policies and new processes
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
National Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in human resources/ industrial and Organisational Psychology or equivalent qualification.
At least 5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role
Experience as a Junior Human Resources Partner within the manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
Working knowledge of relevant labor laws and practices.
Working knowledge of recruitment and selection best practices
Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
Good computer skills (MS Office & SAP)
Strong administration skills
Report writing skills.
