Lotus Concepts Management is a growing hospitality management company overseeing a diverse portfolio of restaurants, bars, entertainment venues, and commercial real estate throughout Colorado. We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team at our Denver Home Office.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where no two days are the same. The Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close, preparing financial reports, and assisting with the accounting functions across multiple operating companies.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate journal entries and general ledger reconciliations

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes

Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts

Review financial statements and investigate account variances

Prepare supporting schedules and financial reports

Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

Record and reconcile fixed assets and depreciation schedules

Prepare sales tax and other business tax filings as required

Work closely with Accounts Payable, Payroll, Operations, and Property Management teams

Assist with annual audits and provide requested documentation

Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation

Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls

Support special projects and company growth initiatives

Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and accuracy in all financial reporting

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience

QuickBooks experience is required

Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Experience with multi-entity accounting preferred

Hospitality or restaurant accounting experience is a plus

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Professional communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
