Java Backend Engineer (Onsite Hybrid)

We are currently seeking a Java Backend Engineer (Onsite Hybrid) to join our team in Merrimack, New Hampshire (US-NH), United States (US).

Basic Qualifications:

10+ years of demonstrable experience in full stack Java programming building scalable web applications

6+ years of experience with Java Spring based frameworks and libraries preferably Spring boot

5+ years of experience working with public Cloud and Cloud based technologies with Microsoft Azure preferred

6+ years of experience building and consuming REST API based integration and microservices architecture

Preferred Skills:

Hands on experience working with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka or Service Bus

Building applications working with databases like Oracle, Postgres etc.

Solid understanding and experience working with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins

Experience with software application testing approaches and tools like jUnit, Cucumber, Selenium

Experience with Chaos Testing and other SRE practices for building highly resilient cloud based software applications

Experience designing and developing applications in microservices architecture

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $96,800 - $145,200 per annum. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
