Job Description:

Reporting to the Head of Client Delivery India, you will play a pivotal role in building, leading, and driving AD Reconciliation team in Hyderabad, India. This role will focus on growing and developing a team responsible for reconciliation functions globally and across a variety of client relationships. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the North America operations team and support our global business groups.

Key responsibilities include:

Provide leadership and direction for the reconciliation team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client needs.

Develop and execute comprehensive business plans for the reconciliation function, incorporating both short-term and long-term objectives.

Oversee the end-to-end reconciliation process, including the identification, research, and resolution of breaks.

Ensure accurate and timely completion of all reconciliation activities, maintaining high standards of data integrity and compliance.

Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance reconciliation efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

Deliver cost-effective reconciliation solutions and drive continuous improvement in processes and systems.

Manage a broad spectrum of reconciliations, including cash, positions, transactions, and NAV (Net Asset Value) reconciliations.

Handle reconciliations for various financial instruments, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative investment products.

Ensure comprehensive coverage of all reconciliation types, from daily cash reconciliations to complex portfolio reconciliations.

Lead projects related to reconciliation system upgrades, process automation, and portfolio onboarding.

Implement and manage reconciliation technology platforms, ensuring seamless integration with internal and external data sources

Coordinate the development and maintenance of information interfaces (APIs) to automate and streamline reconciliation processes

Ensure proper testing, implementation, and documentation of reconciliation technology solutions

Develop robust procedures for break identification, research, and resolution to maintain the integrity and accuracy of reconciliations Implement effective controls to promptly address and resolve reconciliation breaks, minimizing risk and operational disruption. Collaborate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to investigate and resolve complex reconciliation issues.

Grow the reconciliation teams by providing training, development opportunities, and mentoring to cultivate talent.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.

Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute business plans and objectives for the reconciliation function

Establish and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal and external customers.

Establish and maintain meaningful Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for internal/external customers, enabling them to run their businesses more efficiently.

Establish and maintain procedures and controls to support global compliance requirements.

Ensure robust control environments are in place to support accurate and timely reconciliations.

Regularly review and update reconciliation procedures to adhere to regulatory changes and industry best practices.

Maintain exposure to a wide range of reconciliation types and methodologies, staying abreast of industry trends and developments.

Prepare and present detailed reconciliation reports to senior management and other stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and resolution status.

Utilize data analysis and reporting tools to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.

Profile:

Bachelors or Masters degree in a business-related field.

15+ years of experience in the financial services industry and operations, with significant experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.

Strong understanding and experience with data reconciliation, including manual and automated processes.

Advanced working knowledge of alternative investment products, including cash flows for CLOs/Private fund administration (Capital Calls, Distributions, Cash/Position Reconciliations)

Working knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft SQL, and database management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel, for data analysis and reporting.

Advance working knowledge of alternative investment portfolio administration platforms (Sentry, Solvas or similar)

Leadership & Behavioural Competencies:

Budgeting experience at the division level or higher.

Proven track-record of working autonomously in a matrixed organisation and demonstrate strong partnering skills, using them to build internal networks to achieve your objectives.
