Job Description
The Marketing Intern is responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager with marketing initiatives while providing customer service. The ideal candidate must be a student at WCU (with Marketing as a Major or Minor strongly encouraged). Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.
Job Responsibilities
? Knowledge about Meal Plans and overall Dining Service Program
? Resprent Dining Services with a friendly, proffesional and engaging attitude while providing excellent customer service
? Create and manage marketing content, including social media posts, photography, video and promotional materials
? Develop graphic and marketing material using Canva
? Support meal plan sales intiatives
? Perform general office administration duties
? Work independently in an autonmous enviroment while adhering to all workplace policies and procedures
? Proirtize multiple responsibliies effectively, demonstrating strong organization skills, creativity and attention to detail

Qualifications
? Likes to have fun at work while demonstrating a sales competive nature
? Interest in Sales and/or Marketing
? Desire to actively engage with customers to promote and grow meal plan and dining services
? Work well independently and with a team
? Self-motivated and strong communicator with managers, customers and parents
? Experience with social media, photography and video
? A flexible schedule: both day and night is a plus!
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
