Key Responsibilities
Manage firmware for coherent optical modules, including bring-up, calibration, validation, and production release.
Architect and implement features including hitless firmware upgrades, bootloader design, and hardware adaptation layers.
Work closely with DSP, hardware, ATE, and test engineering teams to ensure seamless integration.
Act as a technical expert to respond to customer inquiries and debug complex field issues across hardware/firmware boundaries.
Qualifications
Required
15+ years in embedded software/firmware architecture, design, and implementation.
Deep, hands-on experience in coherent optical module firmware and SoC-based embedded platforms.
Expert-level proficiency in C/C++ firmware development and Python-based scripting.
Strong background in bootloader design and debugging.
Proficiency with Jira, GitLab, and CI/CD-based release flows.
What We Offer
Competitive annual salary between $200,000 and $260,000.
