Key Responsibilities
Design, write, and maintain efficient C++ code for safety-critical missile and weapon system applications.
Develop and support applications running on VxWorks real-time operating systems (RTOS).
Perform hardware-software integration for missile simulators and test equipment; lead verification and validation (VV) activities.
Work within multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure compliance with stringent defense and safety requirements.
Maintain rigorous technical documentation and software development artifacts throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive software development experience using C++ and VxWorks RTOS.
Understanding of real-time embedded principles, SMP (Symmetric Multi-Processing), and multi-core architectures.
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
U.S. Citizenship is strictly required.
Preferred
Experience with Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) or Anti-Air Warfare (AAW) systems.
Familiarity with missile flight test programs, telemetry formats, and weapon system test equipment.
Previous experience in Defense, Aerospace, or Naval systems programs.
