AREA MANAGER (Tokyo)
About the role
Primary purpose of the job
To manage and oversee the day‑to‑day administrative and operational requirements of the office, including office administration, coordination of third‑party service providers and agreements, and monitoring of the internal operating budget
To ensure efficient office operations, cost control, and compliance with corporate policies while supporting business activities across an expanded scope of products and functions
To manage the business relationship between QatarEnergy and existing plus potential buyers in Japan
Obtain reliable intelligence related to Japanese LNG market to best represent QatarEnergy in the marketplace
Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate discipline (Business, Economics, Engineering or Finance).
Experience
15+ years’ experience in LNG and other energy related products with primary focus on commercial issues
Extensive LNG commercial and shipping knowledge and experience
Must have experience in working in Japan, either as part of a large company or servicing a large LNG project
Fluent Japanese and English in writing, reading and speaking
