
Marketing Coordinator
About the role
Rome Cavalieri, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role is central to keeping the department running smoothly day to day while supporting the execution of our marketing plan across traditional and digital channels.
This is a highly organized, detail-driven role. You will be the person who keeps projects, contacts, budgets, and timelines on track, while also acting as a connector between Marketing and every other department in the hotel.
Provide organized, precise administrative support to the Marketing team, including maintaining project trackers, filing systems, contracts, invoices, and department documentation
Work closely with the Marketing Manager to help implement the marketing plan and increase awareness of Rome Cavalieri and the Waldorf Astoria brand
Act as a liaison across hotel departments (F&B, Events, Sales, HR, Front Office) to gather content, coordinate schedules, and ensure marketing initiatives run seamlessly
Support the planning and production of marketing materials for hotel events, F&B promotions, and conference and banqueting activity
Maintain and grow a comprehensive, well-organized media and marketing contact database
Manage and update hotel content on Waldorf Astoria and Hilton branded digital platforms
Assist with local partnerships, media relationships, and coordination with official bodies in Rome
Track marketing spend against budget and support effective resource allocation
Support proactive, cross-departmental promotional opportunities to address specific business needs as they arise
Outstanding organizational skills and close attention to detail; ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and deadlines without things slipping through the cracks
A naturally outgoing, people-first approach, comfortable building relationships across departments and with external partners
Strong written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English
Intermediate to advanced IT skills, including familiarity with digital marketing and content platforms
Ability to stay composed and effective under pressure and shifting priorities
Genuine interest in growing a career across both traditional and digital marketing disciplines
Advantageous:
Previous experience in hospitality, luxury service, or a fast-paced administrative/marketing role
Basic knowledge of budgeting or cost management
A degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
