Description

Oxworks is Australia’s largest privately owned manufacturer and distributor of quality fencing products with 300 staff across 21 locations. Operating for 20+ years, we continue to be a market leader in the industry.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an organised, proactive and people-focused HR Advisor to join our growing HR team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on organisation and accuracy and is looking to grow their experience within Human Resources.

This role is part time, working 35 hours per week across 5 days.

About the Role

Reporting to the HR & Payroll Manager, the HR Advisor’s primary focus is to:

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting onboarding and employee administration activities

Deliver end-to-end Human Resources support across an allocated region

Provide advice, coaching and operational support to Branch Managers & RBM’s throughout the employee lifecycle

Partner with leaders to build capability, improve employee engagement, manage employee relations matters, support workforce planning and ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies

Maintain HR systems, records and reporting ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times

Coordinate training, licensing and compliance requirements across the workforce

Provide guidance and support to employees and leaders relating to HR policies, procedures and systems

Share responsibility for HR administration, compliance, certification management and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring consistent service delivery

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous administration experience within HR or a similar environment preferred

Experience within a manufacturing, industrial or operational environment highly regarded

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

High level computer skills including MS Office and Employment Hero or similar systems

The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment

A proactive and team-focused attitude

The ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
