Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you ll join a close-knit Financial Reporting team. You ll gain exposure to a broad range of financial accounting activities while working alongside experienced colleagues who are committed to your development.

About the role

You ll play a key role in delivering timely and accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end close, statutory accounts and year-end audit activities. You ll also lead on Repairs & Maintenance cost analysis, complete balance sheet reconciliations and work with colleagues across the business to ensure financial information supports effective decision making.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You ll have the opportunity to improve processes, build relationships across the organisation and develop your technical accounting skills in a large, complex business.

About you

We re looking for someone who already has a solid grounding in finance and is keen to continue developing their career.

You ll ideally have:

At least three years experience working within a finance or financial accounting environment.

Experience supporting or completing month-end processes and financial reporting.

Be studying towards an ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification (or newly qualified).

Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.

The confidence to build relationships with colleagues across the business and explain financial information clearly.

Experience within the housing sector would be an advantage, but it isn t essential. We re equally interested in candidates from other sectors who have strong financial accounting experience and are looking to broaden their expertise.
