Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Location: World Headquarters; Wallingford, CT (4 days on-site)
Department: Corporate Controller's Group
Reports to: FP&A Manager
Core Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly forecast package (including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow) on a consolidated basis
Prepare annual budget and strategic plan packages (including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow) on a consolidated basis
Maintain analysts’ summary and related analysts’ financial statements for use by executive management
Analysis of various balance sheet and income statement accounts while working with Group and Division Controllers:
o SG&A by functional area
o Working capital including Inventory, AR & AP
o Various accrued expenses (wages, bonuses, etc.)
Compilation and analysis of pretax income by legal entity provided to Tax Department
Prepare weekly forecast updates comparing to prior guidance and forecast
Prepare pro forma forecast/budget packages (including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow) to include potential acquisitions
AI integration into reporting processes
Various ad hoc reports/analyses used by executive management
Qualifications:
2-4 years of experience in public accounting or a combination of public accounting and industry experience
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strict attention to detail
Strong analytical skills- ability to detect trends, problems or flaws; determine root causes; identify issues creating change, opportunity or problem; partnering with others to drive solutions
Proficient in Excel, hands-on experience or a strong interest in leveraging AI tools and automation workflows to streamline financial processes is preferred.
