We are currently seeking a Software Development Specialist Advisor to join our team in MONTERREY, Nuevo León (MX-NLE), Mexico (MX).

Guide the technical direction of a team, ensuring technology solutions are well designed, scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs, negotiating or proposing new scope with the customer at new requirements

Leading the design, development, implementation, and support of technology solutions across projects or services. Defining technical standards, soliviing complex technical issues, supports team capability growth, and ensures that solutions meet quality, performance, and security requirements.

Core responsabilities

Lead the technical design and architecture of systems, applications, or platforms

Provide hands-on guidance to developers, engineers, or technical teams

Translate business requirements into technical solutions

Ensure adherence to coding standards, architecture principles, security policies, and best practices

Review technical deliverables and support quality assurance

Manage technical risks, dependencies, and issue resolution

Collaborate with project managers, product owners, business stakeholders, and other IT teams

Support planning, estimation, prioritization, and technical roadmaps

Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of new technologies

Mentor team members and help develop technical skills across the team

Ensure system performance, reliability, maintanability and scalability

Contribute to incident resolution, root cause analysis, and service improvement where needed

Typical skills and qualifications:

Strong technical background in software, infrastructure, cloud, data, or enterprise systems

Experience leading technical teams or acting as a senior technical decision-maker

Knowledge of architecture, integration, security, and delivery methodologies

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Good communication and stakeholder management abilities

Experience with Agile, DevOps, ITIL, or project delivery practices, depending on the environment
