About the role
Base Location: For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations and you'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in the office – Glasgow, Perth or Inverness.
Salary: £51,600 - £77,400 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available
The role
Due to continued growth, SSEN Transmission is looking for a Risk Manager to join the Project Delivery Risk team. The Risk Manager will support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks across complex infrastructure projects, ensuring effective risk management processes and collaboration with key stakeholders.
You will
Implement and embed risk management processes across major projects.
Lead risk reviews and maintain accurate risk registers.
Develop mitigation strategies and ensure consistency of risk data.
Perform quantitative risk analysis (cost and schedule) to meet Regulator requirements.
Prepare and deliver clear risk reports aligned with project milestones.
You have
Expertise in quantitative risk analysis (cost and schedule).
Experience of leading risk management on large infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of project risk management methods and tools.
Ability to communicate complex risk information clearly to stakeholders.
Excellent organisational and planning skills with attention to detail.
