Cyber Security Analyst - T3

About Role

We are seeking an experienced Expert Cyber Security Centre Analyst (Tier 3) to strengthen ConvaTec’s cyber security state. In this role, you will monitor the organisation’s security posture, lead incident response activities, investigate cyber threats, and help ensure the resilience of critical business systems. You will partner closely with Security Operations Centres (SOC), Incident Response teams, and key stakeholders across the business to protect ConvaTec from evolving cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor, assess and respond to cyber security incidents across enterprise environments

Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis and remediation activities

Develop and improve incident response plans, procedures and playbooks

Assess and manage technical vulnerabilities and security risks.

Analyse and correlate threat intelligence from multiple sources

Measure and improve incident detection and response effectiveness

Support security testing, resilience assessments and post-incident reviews

Collaborate with SOCs, CSIRTs and business stakeholders on incident management and reporting

NOTE: Shift based. Working on weekends should be expected

About You

Min. 5 years of solid experience working in Cyber Security Operations Centre (SOC) environments

Hands-on expertise in incident response, threat detection and security monitoring

Strong understanding of cyber threats, attack techniques and vulnerability management

Experience working with operating systems, networks, cloud platforms and security tools

Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure incident response situations

Education/Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or equivalent experience

Relevant cyber security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CySA+ or CASP+
