Program & Project Manager

Program & Project Manager:

TXT PACE, part of TXT Group, is seeking new professionals to lead high‑tech projects and programs in Germany. The environment is structured and regulated with an Aerospace/Defence component, where governance, planning, and control are decisive levers for success. We are looking for people with a big‑picture vision, pragmatism, and the ability to manage complexity, collaborating with technical and managerial stakeholders in international, cross‑functional environments.

Key Responsibilities

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll juggle program and project management, keeping one eye on execution and the other on strategy:

Plan and monitor timelines, costs, resources, and quality, engaging teams around clear objectives.

Keep a close watch on projects through KPIs, milestones, risks, and opportunities, with proactive monitoring.

Support decision-making with structured analyses and reports, ensuring alignment between objectives and performance.

Manage stakeholder relationships (internal and external), facilitating communication, prioritization, and compromise.

Strengthen project and program management processes and tools, and support initiatives related to performance improvement, change management, and governance.

In summary, you will lead initiatives throughout the entire project lifecycle, bringing structure, momentum, and measurable results.

Technical Skills

+5 years of experience in Project / Program / Operations Management.

Experience and comfort working in aerospace, defense, industrial, or highly regulated environments are a significant plus.

Analytical and structured approach, focused on results.

Ownership & accountability: taking charge of and completing tasks.

Effective communication with diverse stakeholders.

Ability to manage complexity in dynamic environments.

Proficiency with MS Project, Planisware, Jira, Confluence, and the Google Workspace / MS Office suites.

Knowledge of key methodologies (PMI, Prince2, Agile, Scrum) and the ability to select the most effective approach based on the context.

Education

Bachelor’s degree, Bachelor’s certificate, Master’s degree.

Degree in Engineering/STEM, Economics, Management, Aerospace, or related fields.

Good command of English; knowledge of German is a plus.

Contract Terms

Type: German permanent contract

Annual Salary: €54,000 – €70,000

Full-time

Hybrid work model (based in Germany)

The specific terms of the contract will be determined during the selection process based on the candidate’s profile and in accordance with the IG Metall collective bargaining agreement.
