What We Do
Position includes the preparation of indirect tax work papers and returns, supervision and training of a tax team, identification and preparation of tax refund filings, and interaction with governmental agencies regarding filings, compliance, and audits.
What You’ll Do:
Sales and Use Tax Returns (preparation and review)
Property Tax Returns (preparation and review)
Manage Sales and Use Tax Audits
Position will provide functional advice and training for the team
Review / Research indirect tax laws and regulations impacting all First American businesses
Identify opportunities for indirect tax refunds and prepare claims and applications
What You’ll Bring:
3+ years of related indirect tax experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficient in analyzing large amounts of data
Solid time management, communication, presentation, and organizational skills
Experience in Excel, Oracle or similar accounting software, OneSource/Avalara/Vertex or similar indirect tax calculation software, and CCH or other tax research software
Pay Range: $85,000.00 - $113,300.00 Annually
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.

Compensation
This Finance role pays $85k-$113k/yr. Within typical range for finance roles in United States.
