Job Overview

Key Job Responsibilities

Design / create 3-D models & engineering drawings for new product.

Revise 3-D models & engineering drawings for existing products.

Research, develop new concepts, & test prototypes.

Assist in first article samples inspection, make correction & request changes.

Assist in resolving product related customer complains.

Provide technical data to QC / QA Dept. for inspection purposes & to Sales for marketing purposes.

Assist Manufacturing Dept. with rework reduction and control.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equal / similar

2+ years of recent experience in 3-D design, solid modeling, and assemblies using Creo Parametric.

2+ years of recent experience in 2-D components and assemblies drawings using Creo Parametric.

Experience in surface modeling using Creo Parametric is preferred.

1+ years of recent experience in finite element analysis (FEA) using Creo Simulate or Ansys is preferred.

1+ years of experience in basic design engineering calculation and tolerance stack up studies.

1+ years of experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software (Windchill) is preferred.

Experience in new product development process and revising existing products.

Experience in construction and mining equipment wear parts is a plus.

Experience in the manufacturing industry such steel casting and machining is a plus.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment.

Accurate & pays attention to details and ability to present technical data informatively.

Ability to complete assignments within due dates.

Ability to travel in the US and to foreign countries on occasion.
