Your Tasks

Preparation and review of customs documents

Creates accurate customs documents. according to applicable regulations, tariff classifications, and operational requirements.

Carefully reviews all data - such as tariff codes, values, quantities, and regulatory obligations - to ensure the customs document is compliant and error‑free.

Minimizes risks of penalties, delays, or discrepancies with authorities and Plant.

Closure of customs form

Manages the timely closure of customs form, ensuring all supporting documents are complete and aligned with the declared information.

Maintains organized and compliant documentation archives digital according to internal policies, tax authority requirements, and audit standards.

Guarantees traceability and readiness for inspections or audits.

Regulatory compliance

Ensures that all imported and exported goods comply with customs laws, international trade regulations, and non‑tariff requirements (such as NOMs, special permits, and agency regulations).

Continuously monitors changes in legislation and updates processes accordingly to avoid regulatory breaches.

Electronic File

Coordination

Serves as the operational link between the company, customs brokers external, and internal stakeholders such as logistics, procurement, finance, and warehouse teams.

Provides accurate instructions, resolves document discrepancies, and ensures smooth communication to expedite customs clearance.

Facilitates teamwork to prevent operational bottlenecks

Your Profile

Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Customs, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field

3 Years in similar position

Experience in import/export operations and customs compliance

Knowledge of Mexican customs regulations and international trade agreements

Effective communication with customs brokers, government authorities, and internal stakeholders

Troubleshooting

Attention to Detail

Analytical and problem-solving skills

English proficiency
