We're growing in Australia and are looking for an experienced Account Manager – Retail to join our Melbourne team. This is a high-impact role focused on managing and expanding relationships with some of our most strategic retail customers.

What you'll be doing

As the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of key retail accounts, you'll work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver long-term value while driving growth across products, services, and solutions.

You'll be responsible for:

Managing and growing relationships with strategic retail customers

Developing and executing account plans that support customer and business objectives

Identifying opportunities to services, solutions, and customer footprint

Conducting regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions

Building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline across existing accounts

Preparing commercial proposals, quotations, tenders, and business cases

Forecasting customer requirements and future business opportunities

Managing renewal and customer retention activities

Coordinating with project, service, and operations teams to ensure successful delivery

Resolving customer issues and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction

Providing market intelligence, customer insights, and competitive feedback

What we're looking for

We're looking for a commercially minded relationship-builder who understands how to create value for customers while achieving business results.

You will likely bring:

3+ years' experience in Account Management, Business Development, Key Accounts, or B2B Sales

Experience working with large retail customers or within retail supply chain, logistics, warehousing, automation, industrial products, or related industries

A proven track record of growing revenue within existing customer accounts

Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills

Experience preparing proposals, tenders, and commercial presentations

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capability

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Nice to have

Experience with CRM or ERP platforms such as Dynamics, Navision, Salesforce, or similar

Exposure to warehouse operations, intralogistics, automation, or material handling solutions
