Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development are seeking a Senior Finance Business Analyst to support the Department's development and use of MyWorkZone (SAP), realising the benefits of the Process and Technology Harmonisation (PaTH) Program. In this role, you will help shape future business processes, support system improvements, and drive the successful adoption of new functionality across the organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a significant enterprise transformation program that will impact how services are delivered across the Department. You will partner with business leaders, project teams, and end users to understand business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, support testing activities, and facilitate change and adoption initiatives.

You will:

Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify process improvement opportunities.

Support the implementation and optimisation of MyWorkZone (SAP) functionality.

Coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing and business readiness activities.

Assist with change management, communication, training, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

Analyse business processes and recommend practical, customer-focused solutions.

Prepare reports, presentations, business cases, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Work across multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on quality outcomes and delivery timeframes

Our ideal candidate

We are looking for someone who brings strong project experience and has a proven ability to work effectively in environments undergoing significant change.

You will be:

An experienced business analyst with a track record of supporting large projects, system implementations, or transformation initiatives.

Confident managing and influencing stakeholders across diverse business areas.

Familiar with SAP environments, ideally with exposure to MyWorkZone (MWZ) or enterprise resource planning systems.

Skilled in business process analysis, requirements gathering, testing, and continuous improvement.

A flexible, approachable, and solutions-focused professional who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.

Comfortable balancing competing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and high-quality outcomes.

An effective communicator who can translate technical information into practical business outcomes and support successful organisational change
