About the role

Based in Brisbane, you will drive new business growth along Australia's east coast. This is first and foremost a new-business role - with the bulk of payroll, compliance and account administration handled by our dedicated support teams. Your focus stays on winning and growing clients.

Key responsibilities include:

Own and deliver a new business revenue target, with full accountability for your pipeline from first contact through to filled shifts

Proactively identify, pursue and win new clients across warehousing and logistics, civil construction and infrastructure, manufacturing, mining and renewables

Conduct regular client and prospect site visits across the east coast, completing customer site safety assessments and identifying workforce demand early - project ramp-ups, shutdowns, seasonal peaks and unplanned labour gaps

Track major project announcements, tenders and construction pipelines across the east coast to position Haynes ahead of competitors

Convert briefs quickly through seamless handover to our recruitment team, leveraging Haynes' 48-hour response commitment as a genuine competitive edge

Grow share of wallet within won accounts and turn satisfied clients into referrals across their project and supplier networks

Represent Haynes at industry events and networking functions across the territory

About you

Prior experience in the recruitment industry is essential - experience recruiting in warehousing and civil construction will be viewed very favourably

Strong market knowledge across the eastern seaboard, and a genuine drive to help local businesses succeed

High level of customer service - we pride ourselves on doing what we say we will do!

Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills

A proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets, with the drive to work autonomously

Intermediate computer skills and the ability to learn new programs

Current QLD Driver's Licence and the ability to travel as required, including interstate
