Ownership of full lifecycle automation projects from concept through to commissioning and handover.

Exposure to multi‑site manufacturing environments and collaboration with OEMs, integrators and contractors.

YOUR IMPACT

Drive the delivery of end‑of‑line automation across Asahi manufacturing sites, shaping how product is handled, packaged and moved at scale. You translate concept into execution by scoping, designing, procuring and commissioning equipment that meets safety, quality and operational standards. Each day centres on aligning stakeholders, resolving technical decisions and keeping projects on track to deliver against scope, schedule and cost. The outcome is reliable, compliant automation that supports operational performance and disciplined capital investment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead end‑to‑end delivery of manufacturing automation projects, ensuring scope, timeline and budget are met across Asahi sites.

Develop front‑end project plans by defining concepts, scopes, schedules and budgets that set projects up for successful execution.

Coordinate internal teams, OEMs, system integrators and contractors to achieve milestones and complete commissioning and handover to operations.

Govern safety and compliance by implementing Safety Management Plans and ensuring adherence to QEHS, site, state and national regulations through observation and auditing.

Manage engineering design and procurement by driving standards compliance, facilitating design reviews and HAZOPs, and overseeing RFPs, vendor selection and technical documentation.

ABOUT YOU

Previous experience in a similar role, with engineering expertise grounded in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline.

Strong technical understanding of manufacturing operations, including GMP, SOPs, ISO standards and HACCP principles within project environments.

Demonstrated sound engineering judgement when navigating design decisions, risk assessments and compliance requirements.

Ability to influence and build relationships across stakeholders, working effectively with cross‑functional teams and external partners.

Communicate clearly, facilitate discussions and lead change with structured problem‑solving and decision‑making.
