Position Overview

The Procurement Intern will support the Hyderabad Procurement team in expediting Purchase Orders (POs) and facilitating collaboration between buyers and internal and external stakeholders using SAP. This role provides hands-on experience in procurement operations and exposure to supply chain management and accounts within a global specialty materials company.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in monitoring and expediting Purchase Orders in SAP to ensure compliance with delivery schedules.

Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to track PO status and resolve delays.

Maintain accurate records and update procurement databases in SAP.

Support the team in generating procurement reports and documentation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth procurement operations.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

B.Tech , B.Com , BBA, or related fields like Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, or Economics. 2026 gradutes only

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.

Adaptability to change and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Proactive problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying issues and implementing solutions.

Basic understanding of procurement or supply chain principles is a plus but not mandatory.
