Role Overview

We are looking for a ServiceNow App Engine Architect to lead the design and delivery of

low-code/no-code applications on the ServiceNow App Engine platform. The role requires a strong

understanding of ServiceNow architecture, application development, workflow automation,

integrations, and solution governance.

Key Responsibilities

Design scalable enterprise applications using ServiceNow App Engine.

Lead solution architecture discussions and translate business requirements into technical

solutions.

Define application architecture, data models, workflows, integrations, and security controls.

Develop and govern App Engine development standards, best practices, and reusable

components.

Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams.

Design and review integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, and

APIs.

Support estimation, solution documentation, and technical proposal development.

Guide developers through code reviews, technical mentoring, and deployment governance.

Ensure platform scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.

Participate in customer workshops, solution demonstrations, and architecture reviews.

Required Skills

5–6 years of overall IT experience.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on ServiceNow App Engine / Creator Workflows experience.

Strong understanding of ServiceNow App Engine, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Service

Catalog, UI Builder, Workspace Development, Data Modeling, ACLs and Security, Client Scripts

and Business Rules.

Experience building enterprise-grade custom applications on ServiceNow.

Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and API-based development.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

ServiceNow Certified Application Architect (preferred)

Exposure to AI, workflow automation, and enterprise integrations is desirable.
