Job Description:
Conduct thorough manual testing on software applications to identify any bugs or issues
Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and timelines
Create and execute test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage
Identify, document, and track defects and issues, working closely with the development team to resolve them
Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases
Having knowledge of integrating automation test cycle with CI tools is added advantage.
Execute automation test cycle and create defects for the failed test cases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the end-to-end processes and identify areas for improvement
Continuously update testing procedures and documentation to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Web Services testing using SoapUI, verify API results using Postman, and have knowledge of Web Service Studio.
An active participation in all the SCRUM ceremonies.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Manual QA or similar role with 5 – 8 years of experience.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
Extensive knowledge of bug-tracking tools and test case management tools
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
