This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with strong expertise in Python, OOP concepts, Data Structures, Algorithms, and Linux, along with an interest in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and VLSI methodologies.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain software tools to automate engineering and design processes.

Build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications using Python.

Design efficient data structures and algorithms to model complex design data.

Develop software solutions based on Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.

Create UML models for design data and generate code from structured models.

Develop frameworks to automate repetitive engineering tasks and improve design productivity.

Collaborate with Digital IP Design teams to understand requirements and translate them into robust software solutions.

Build reusable software components that can be extended across multiple design projects.

Generalize implementations using modern software architecture and engineering best practices.

Define coding standards, software architecture, QA strategies, documentation practices, and code review processes.

Work closely with cross-functional global engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Analyze complex engineering problems and develop innovative automation solutions.

Ensure software quality through testing, debugging, optimization, and continuous improvement.

Participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and project planning activities.

Required Skills :

5+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.

Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

Excellent knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.

Hands-on experience working in Linux/Unix environments.

Strong programming and problem-solving skills.

Experience writing scalable, maintainable, and reusable code.

Good understanding of software architecture and design patterns.

Experience with UML modeling is preferred.

Strong debugging, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

Exposure to Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools and methodologies.

Knowledge of VLSI design concepts.

Experience working with XML, HDL models, or structured design data.

Familiarity with software automation frameworks.

Understanding of code generation techniques.

Experience working in Agile software development environments.
