Broadcom Central Engineering is looking for a qualified individual who can provide best-in-class development and support for CAD tool flows focused on advanced process nodes.

Responsibilities:

This individual will be hands-on, heavily involved in day-to-day support of design/layout issues and develop, maintain, and support utilities to improve productivity.

Prior experience in one or more of the following domains is required:

- Development or maintenance of existing Calibre DRC/LVS decks for advanced FINFET nodes.

- Creation and maintenance of CAD PDK environments (tool installations, layout environment customization using skill etc.).

- Providing EDA tool support and flows for circuit simulation, EMIR, Aging using industry standard tools like Spectre, Hspice etc.

- Block level place and route experience using industry standard EDA tools to gather PPA metrics

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science plus 4+ years of experience.

Solid programming skills

User-level familiarity with related CAD Tools.

Experience in all phases of CAD support, including evaluation, QA, testing, release, user support, and documentation.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, along with strong multi-tasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.
