Runaway Bay Tavern is entering another exciting chapter, with further renovations underway to enhance one of the Gold Coast's favourite local venues. While the venue continues to trade, our kitchen team is growing and we're looking for passionate hospitality professionals to be part of the journey. The bistro is currently undergoing a major refurbishment, while the newly renovated Sports Bar continues to operate, making this an exciting time to join the team.

Availability to work a rotating roster, including nights and weekends
Role Requirements
Sous Chef
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or experienced Senior Chef de Partie
Strong leadership and kitchen management skills
Experience with stock control, food safety and team development
Chef de Partie
Experience running a section in a busy kitchen
Strong knowledge of food preparation and presentation
Passion for consistency and quality
Commis Chef
Commercial kitchen experience or relevant culinary qualifications
Eagerness to learn and develop your skills
Kitchen Porter
Reliable, hardworking and organised
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is advantageous but not essential
