As our events keep growing, so does our team and we are looking for Conference and Events Operations Supervisor to join us for some of our biggest events yet in a full-time, hands-on, fast-paced role.
Job Description
You will be:
Assisting in organising and controlling the day-to-day operations of our large-volume, award-winning conference and catering facilities
Delivering smooth, efficient and courteous service to guests throughout all functions
Maintaining clear, consistent and up-to-date communication to ensure all relevant departments understand their responsibilities in relation to daily function activities
Liaising closely with the culinary team to coordinate the day's activities
Supervising, and assisting with the training and development of our ambassadors
Contributing to the banquets leadership team and helping to drive team engagement
Qualifications
Previous experience within a hotel events, banquets or conference and events team is highly desirable
Strong working knowledge of banquets, functions and events service styles and standards
A genuine passion for service excellence, with a strong desire to continually learn and grow
Excellent organisational, time-management and communication skills
A strong guest-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering memorable experiences
Meticulous attention to detail
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends, in line with a rotating roster
Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification is essential
