Senior Business Analyst - Data Platforms Uplift

This role directly contributes to risk reduction, audit confidence, and operational resilience.

You will work on high visibility outcomes with senior stakeholders across the business and technology.

With close to 100 Consultants and more than 10 years delivering successful data projects for our customers, our teams work on complex and diverse projects with organisations ranging from the largest local enterprises to SMEs and start-ups across multiple industries.

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to play a critical role within the Data Platforms Uplift program. This role sits at the intersection of business, technology, risk, and delivery, supporting the standardisation of how data is onboarded, governed, and operated across the organisation. You will work closely with product owners, engineers, platform teams, cyber, and data owners to ensure scalable, auditable, and business-aligned outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with business, risk, and technology stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document requirements for data onboarding and migration.

Translate complex regulatory, control, and operational needs into clear functional and nonfunctional requirements.

Support the definition and refinement of standard onboarding patterns, controls, and acceptance criteria.

Facilitate workshops and working sessions to align stakeholders on scope, dependencies, and delivery outcomes.

Perform impact analysis for dataset migrations, platform changes, and control enhancements.

Support end-to-end delivery by contributing to test scenarios, validation activities, and production readiness.

Assist in clarifying ownership, operating model responsibilities, and handover to BAU.

Produce clear, concise artefacts suitable for senior stakeholders and SteerCo consumption.

What We're Looking For - Core Skills and Experience

Strong experience as a Senior Business Analyst in complex technology or data programs.

Proven ability to operate in ambiguous, largescale transformation environments.

Experience working across business, engineering, platform, and risk stakeholders.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex problems.

Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive level articulation.

Experience supporting delivery within Agile or hybrid delivery models.

Comfort working in a matrixed organisation with multiple dependencies.

Desirable

Experience in data platforms, data migration, or cloud-based technologies.

Exposure to data governance, controls, audit, or regulatory environments.

Experience working with enterprise scale transformation programs.

Familiarity with operating model design and change delivery.
