Responsibilities:
High speed VLSI/SBC/Analog/Digital/RF circuit design according to standard design methodologies
Design of circuit schematics and electrical networks
Performing preliminary and detailed designs including modeling, simulations and performing design calculations
Preparation of hardware design documents and literature, making sure design complies with requirements
Performing peer-review of designs, design artefacts and documents
Leading or assisting in board bring-up, helping resolve hardware issues
Review of PCB layout, BOM and other hardware documents
Engaging with in-house or third-party lab for product qualification as per test standards
Qualifications
M. Tech or PhD in Electrical/Electronics/Electronics and Communication/InstrumentationnEngineering
Min 3+ years' experience in hardware design (Concession in min. work experience for relevant PhD candidates)
Required Skills
Knowledge of Orcad / Altium/ KICAD or other electronic design (EDA) tools
Strong fundamental knowledge of Applied Physics and Engineering Mathematics
Hands-on experience of simulation tools such as LT-SPICE / WEBENCH / MULTISIM / SIMULINK
Working knowledge of Octave or MATLAB
Well versed with EMC design techniques and signal integrity issues
Experience with high-speed micro-processor circuit designs, aware of clock stability issues having worked with high-speed RAM/Flash/PHY and other peripherals
Min. 3 years' hands-on in hardware development cycle, hardware debugging, natural ability and intuition in solving hardware problems
Experience in EMC testing, having successfully worked on product qualification for CE or IEC or MIL-STD-461E/F or any other test standards
