Job Title: Data Engineer

Position: Software Engineer

Experience:4-6 yrs

Main location: Hyderabad

The candidate should seamlessly utilize Hadoop, Hive, Impala and PySpark.

. Must be able to analyze SAS scripts and migrate it to PySpark scripts.

. This candidate will serve as a technical expert for a large-scale digital development project consisting of both on-shore and off-shore developers.

. 4+ years of professional experience in software development and/or data engineering; and in working with relational databases including Oracle, Teradata, MySQL.

. 4+ years of experience in working with Hadoop ecosystem, i.e. Hadoop, Hive, PySpark, Sqoop, Kafka

. Must have programming experience in Python, shell scripting

. Must be able to understand SAS scripts to migrate it to Hadoop

. Must have experience of handling inbound and out bound file transmission process using EFX/SFG, NDM etc.

. Experience with modern workflow/orchestration tools (e.g. Apache Airflow, Oozie, etc.)

. Experience working with reporting tools like Tableau

. Good to have knowledge of AWS cloud services and GenAI capabilities.

. Strong analytical abilities.

. Agile experience is required with Version One or Jira tool expertise

. Provide hands-on technical solutions to business challenges & translate them into process/ technical solutions

. Good knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps principles

. Deliver high quality work and adapt to new challenges, as an individual or as part of a team

. Excellent communication and thought leadership skills

. The ideal candidate should have a can-do attitude, passion for technology, and extensive analysis coding.
