We are seeking a skilled Cloud Integration Engineer with strong Java and backend development experience to design and implement enterprise-grade integrations and microservices.

In this role, you will work with modern cloud technologies, middleware patterns, and API-driven architectures to enable secure and scalable data exchange across systems. You will collaborate with architecture, security, and operations teams to deliver reliable and high-performing solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and develop backend services and system integrations using Java and Spring frameworks

Build and manage RESTful APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) using JSON and XML formats

Implement middleware patterns including transformation, routing, and orchestration

Deploy and maintain applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Use containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes

Optimize database interactions using PostgreSQL (queries, indexing, transactions)

Implement security mechanisms such as OAuth2 and JWT (JSON Web Tokens)

Contribute to DevOps activities including Git, CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Delivery), and build tools (Maven/Gradle)

Provide production support, debugging, and performance tuning

Qualifications

✅ Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience

3+ years of experience in backend development or integration engineering

Strong experience in Java (8/11/17) and Spring (Boot, MVC, Data JPA, Security)

Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

Understanding of middleware/integration concepts

Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL optimization

Preferred

Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes

Exposure to CI/CD workflows and DevOps practices

Knowledge of OAuth2 and JWT authentication

Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
