Senior Sitecore Developer - 3 Month Contract (Part-Time, Max 24 hrs/week)

Overview We're seeking a Senior Sitecore Developer for a part-time, 3-month engagement (up to 24 hrs/week) contributing to an active Sitecore XP/SXA rebuild for a government-sector digital platform.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Sitecore XP 10.x solutions using SXA

Build and refine components, renderings, and templates

Implement responsive front-end features (HTML/CSS/SCSS, JS)

Write and maintain Sitecore PowerShell Extensions (SPE) scripts for content/data operations

Contribute to search functionality (indexing, computed fields, facets)

Fix accessibility issues (WCAG 2.1 AA) across components

Collaborate with design and platform teams on implementation decisions

Support deployment pipelines and environment configuration (Azure)

Required Skills

5+ years Sitecore development experience

Strong SXA experience (components, page designs, variants)

Sitecore 10.4+ preferred

Proficient in C#, .NET, HTML/SCSS/JavaScript

Experience with Sitecore PowerShell Extensions

Familiarity with Solr/Azure Search indexing

Azure DevOps / CI-CD pipeline experience

Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards

Nice to Have

Government sector experience

Sitecore Cloud-to-Azure migration experience

ServiceNow or ITSM platform familiarity

Duration: 3 months, max 24 hrs/week, immediate start preferred

Pay: $100.00 – $120.00 per hour
