About the role

We Are

Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.

You Are

You have spent years building infrastructure that does not just work in staging, it holds up under real load, across distributed teams, in environments where downtime is not an option. You know the difference between a deployment that ships clean and one that wakes people up at 3 a.m., and you have learned to catch the difference before the pipeline runs.

You are comfortable moving between cloud-native tooling and on-premise constraints without losing sight of what you are actually enabling: R&D teams who need to build, test, and ship without thinking about the infrastructure underneath. You do not wait for perfect architecture diagrams. You ask the right questions, understand the tradeoffs, and build systems that scale without becoming fragile.

Automation is not a nice-to-have for you, it is how you think. You see a manual step and immediately start sketching the script that replaces it. You have strong opinions about observability, security, and reliability, and you are not afraid to push back when a shortcut today will create a mess tomorrow.

At Synopsys, you will work on infrastructure that powers Physical AI platforms, simulation workloads, and digital twin environments. The work is technical, the stakes are real, and what you build will directly affect how engineers across the company ship their work.

What You'll Be Doing

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the Physical AI platform

Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) for cloud and on-prem deployments

Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of platform infrastructure

Collaborate closely with R&D engineering teams to streamline build, test, and release processes

Deploy and manage applications across hybrid environments (cloud + on-premise)

Monitor system health and implement observability solutions (logging, metrics, alerting)

Improve security, compliance, and operational best practices

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues

Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps tools, workflows, and processes

The Impact You Will Have

Enable faster, more reliable releases for Physical AI platform features used by engineering teams globally

Reduce deployment friction and manual toil, giving R&D engineers more time to focus on product development

Improve system uptime and resilience through proactive monitoring and infrastructure design

Accelerate onboarding and iteration cycles for AI/ML workflows and simulation workloads

Strengthen security and compliance posture across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments

Create reusable infrastructure patterns that scale across teams and product lines

Support the growth of digital twin and simulation capabilities that power next-generation engineering tools

What You'll Need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Strong experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering (typically 5+ years)

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Experience managing on-premise infrastructure and hybrid environments

Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)

Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)

Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)

Experience supporting AI/ML platforms or data pipelines is preferred

Familiarity with high-performance computing (HPC) or simulation workloads is preferred

Exposure to 3D, simulation, or digital twin environments is preferred

Knowledge of OpenUSD and/or NVIDIA Omniverse ecosystems is preferred

Experience with artifact management and build systems is preferred

Who You Are

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global environment

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized
