Purpose

As an Asset Integrity Trainee, you support a range of activities related to asset integrity management within the department, gaining practical experience and exposure to processes governed by NR-13 and SPIE requirements. You assist the team in ensuring the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of pressure vessels, boilers, piping systems, and safety devices, while contributing to business objectives and developing your technical knowledge, analytical skills, and professional capabilities in a dynamic Oil & Gas environment.

Responsibilities

You support asset integrity activities within the department, assisting in the management of equipment such as pressure vessels, piping systems, boilers, and safety devices in compliance with NR-13 and SPIE requirements.

You contribute to the development and review of inspection and integrity plans, including supporting the definition of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) strategies.

You participate in field inspections and follow-up activities, gaining exposure to offshore and onshore operational environments when applicable.

You assist in the preparation and review of technical reports related to inspections, integrity, and maintenance activities.

You collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Operations, Maintenance, and Process Engineering, supporting asset integrity activities primarily from an onshore office-based environment.

You support internal audits and compliance activities related to the SPIE management system.

You contribute to process improvement initiatives, including optimization of inspection plans, data management, and integrity workflows.

You assist in the use and maintenance of integrity management systems and tools (e.g., RBI, IFS, Power BI), ensuring data accuracy and traceability.

You participate in learning and training activities related to asset integrity, safety standards, and engineering fundamentals.

You contribute to technical studies and projects, such as failure analysis, risk assessments, or inspection optimization initiatives.

You attend team meetings, engage with senior professionals, and contribute with analysis and insights during discussions.

You maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

You actively seek feedback and learning opportunities to develop your technical, analytical, and professional skills.

You support administrative and coordination tasks as required by the team.

Education

Mechanical or Naval engineers recently graduated (maximum 2 years)

Intermediate to advanced English communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Experience

Prior internship experience in a technical or business environment is a plus but not mandatory.
