About the Job:
The Senior Associate Cyber Security is responsible for supporting the AI enabled Vulnerability management from AT&T India. The team member collaborates with US and India Cyber Security teams to develop, implement and operationalize AI enabled VM capabilities in Application Security and Infrastructure Security in a DevSecOps framework.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop next-generation AI capabilities for detection, analysis, mitigation, and response
Partner directly with Engineering & Operations teams (incident response, security engineering, cloud security, insider threat, etc.) to accelerate delivery
Collaborate with other Cyber teams, Policy & Compliance, and Tech Risk to ensure alignment, scalability, and governance of solutions
Break down complex problems and unblock execution at critical moments
Serve as a technical and strategic sounding board across the organization
Bridge innovation and operationalization to ensure capabilities are production-ready and adopted at scale
Experience Level: 4+ years.
Location: Hyderabad / Bengaluru
Primary / Mandatory Skills:
Overall - at least 4+ years of experience in performing security engineering in application and infrastructure vulnerability management.
3+ years of experience in application and infrastructure penetration testing.
1+ years of experience in assessments of complex systems with AI / ML / Data Science capabilities and services.
Deployment and operation of tools and processes to analyze security threats and vulnerabilities in DevSecOps.
Awareness of AI-driven risks (e.g., adversarial ML, data poisoning, model hallucination) and their mitigation within enterprise environments.
Ability to perform Incident management.
Ability to design and implement strategies to AI systems from cyber-attacks.
Ability to design and implement adversarial test plans.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
A commitment to staying current with the latest developments in cybersecurity through ongoing training and professional development.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Operate with urgency in high-stakes environments.

Flexible to provide coverage in US morning hours on a need-basis, and as required.
Desirable skills:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, information systems, engineering, or cybersecurity.
Industry certifications such as CISSP, SANS and/or other relevant certifications
Understanding of LLM, prompt engineering, or AI governance frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act readiness) is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
