About the role
Overview
We are an independent vehicle dealer specializing in wheelchair-accessible vans and adaptive driving equipment. We are seeking a full-time sales representative. Responsibilities include: staying in contact with current clients; marketing and calling on new clients; working with the service department. Must be a self-starter; work well with customers; and pay close attention to detail. Applicants MUST HAVE motivation, prior sales experience, and experience with new business development.
Applicants must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Paid holidays/vacation/sick time after probation period. Medical available. Rarely weekends.
This can be a lucrative position for the right person. Bi-Weekly salary for the first 90 days, then pay is determined by commission on sales. There is no cap on sales.
Responsibilities
Cultivate a robust sales pipeline through proactive outbound calls, cold calling, and servicing current clients.
Demonstrate expert negotiation skills to close deals efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Manage inventory control and inventory management processes to align customer preferences with available vehicles.
Utilize CRM software and other customer relationship management systems to track leads, follow-ups, and sales activities.
Upsell additional products and services such as warranties, accessories, and maintenance packages to enhance customer value.
Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs, offering tailored vehicle recommendations, and maintaining positive relationships.
Support marketing initiatives by participating in promotional events, public speaking engagements, and community outreach efforts to boost dealership visibility.
Maintain high standards of phone etiquette and professional communication skills during all interactions.
Assist in retail math calculations for pricing strategies, deal closing, and sales performance analysis.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and achieve dealership goals.
Experience
Proven experience in automotive industry sales or retail sales with a focus on passenger car sales is highly preferred.
Demonstrated success in outside sales or outbound sales environments.
Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual capabilities are a plus).
Prior experience managing a sales pipeline using CRM software or similar tools is essential.
Experience in deal closing, upselling, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems support is highly valued.
Background in dealership operations including inventory management, inventory control, retail math, and organizational skills will set candidates apart.
Sales team management experience or leadership roles within automotive or retail settings are advantageous.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
