Position Overview
People First Therapeutic Solutions is seeking a compassionate, dependable Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in home and community settings. This is a field-based position that allows you to make a direct impact in clients' everyday lives. We are looking for professionals who are adaptable, collaborative, and passionate about helping individuals build meaningful skills and achieve greater independence.
Responsibilities
Deliver individualized ABA therapy in home and community-based settings.
Implement treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies developed by a supervising BCBA.
Accurately collect and document session data using electronic data collection systems.
Collaborate with caregivers, supervisors, and interdisciplinary team members to promote consistent treatment implementation.
Teach communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills using evidence-based practices.
Support the generalization and maintenance of skills across natural environments.
Maintain professional, ethical, and confidential standards in accordance with BACB guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications
Required
Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to client homes and community locations.
Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with supervisors.
Successful completion of all required background screenings and state registry checks.
Preferred
Experience providing in-home or community-based ABA services.
Experience supporting adolescents or adults with developmental disabilities.
Knowledge of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Acceptance and Commitment Training (AIM), or social skills programming is beneficial but not required.
