Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Assist with medication intake, verifying patient information and medication orders to ensure correctness and completeness.

Provide exceptional patient service by answering inquiries, explaining medication instructions, and supporting medication administration processes.

Manage inventory levels, stock medications appropriately, and place orders.

Document all medication transactions meticulously in pharmacy systems using Prime Rx.

Support pharmacy workflow by performing tasks such as data entry, medication labeling, and assisting with clinical documentation related to patient care.

Requirements

Proven pharmacy technician experience.

Strong knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of acute care procedures.

Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care and communication.

Familiarity with pharmacy systems for intake processing, medication administration documentation, and inventory management. (ex Prime Rx, Micro Merchant)

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
