Overview

Join our dedicated team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental and neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder. Responsibilities

Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring consistency and fidelity to established protocols

Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and response to interventions accurately and efficiently

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting to promote independence

Support clients during therapy sessions both in-home and community settings, fostering skill development in communication, socialization, and self-care

Maintain detailed medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and accuracy

Collaborate with team members to develop and update individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs

Promote positive behavior management strategies that align with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts and best practices in behavioral health

Experience

Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders is highly preferred

Experience providing behavioral therapy or applied behavior analysis (ABA) interventions for children or adults

Background in special education, teaching, or patient care that involves working closely with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders

Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and home-based behavioral support is advantageous

Demonstrated ability to collect data systematically and utilize it to inform treatment adjustments

Knowledge of behavior management techniques and experience working within ethical guidelines for behavior analysts is essential

Previous experience supporting individuals with disabilities in various settings enhances your ability to succeed in this role
