About the role
In this role, you will not just crunch numbers; you will directly shape investment decisions. You will own the financial architecture of our renewable energy pipeline and run the analytical engine behind high-profile M&A processes, working closely with local project teams and senior stakeholders to enhance project value.
Responsibilities
Financial Modelling & Valuation: Build, optimize, and own complex financial models from early-stage project screening through to Ready-to-Build (RTB) status
Economic Assessment: Evaluate project economics and risk profiles using probability-weighted DCF and project finance frameworks
Asset Lifecycle Updates: Continuously update and refine valuations as projects progress through permitting, grid connection, and technical milestones
Commercial Structuring: Support early-stage structuring and origination of new pipeline opportunities (including feasibility studies, Joint Ventures, and DSAs)
M&A Execution: Run the analytical backbone of divestment and acquisition processes, managing investor lists, NDAs, Teasers, CIMs, Virtual Data Rooms (VDR), and Q&A coordination
Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare high-quality Investment Committee presentations and commercial materials for senior management
Business Partnering: Work directly with country Project Managers on budget allocation, prioritization, and value-creation decisions
Qualifications
Solid experience in financial modelling and valuation within Project Finance, Investment Banking, M&A, or Renewable Energy Development
Experience building and manipulating complex Excel-based valuation models from scratch (a financial modelling exercise will be part of the selection process)
Deep knowledge of corporate finance, DCF methodology, and financial statements
Familiarity with the renewable energy sector and the development lifecycle (Greenfield to RTB) is highly advantageous
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required, as you will operate in an international environment
